One workstation had some problems, I have used the repair feature on Windows 2000 I put the CD in and boot of it then choose the install not repair on the next screen I choose the repair. Now when she logs in all her programs are still there but when she launches Outlook she gets an error message: “the name could not be resolved. The action could not be completed.” In properties the server name is correct, but when I click on CHECK NAME I get the following message: “the name could not be resolved. The Microsoft Exchange address Book was unable to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer. Contact you system administrator if the problem persists.” Can some help me troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks, Scruby

Hi guys,

I'm experiencing the same problem when installing the Outlook 2000 on a Chinese Windows 98.

It prompted the same error message. I've tried removing the TCP/IP protocols, but doesn't help. I've also installed NetBEUI, but also doesn't help at all.

Please kindly assist any possible solutions..

Thanks.

Cheers,
libroos
