Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question or not but here it is.

I have a Window XP Pro SP2 computer that when it tries to access our SharePoint website (Intranet) it gives this error: The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted. (This is with Show friendly HTTP error off)

This computer can access the website if I enter in the URL the FQDN (name.domain.com) but I can not access the website by just name when I type it in the URL.

Thanks for any help

Nope, nothing in those, the weird thing is I can go into the host file, create a entry like Intranet, give it the IP address of Share Point and it will connect to the website fine by that name, but I can't use the name that it should be using to connect. I know it has to do with that computer as everyone else can connect without issues.

Thanks,
