Hello All,

It used to be that if you visited this link:

CF developers would find a whole boat load of ColdFusion third party code (some free some not). Code such as shopping carts and mail that a newbie CF developer could use to see how CF works.

Well, wouldn't you know it, Macromedia done switched things on us. Now, when you type in the link above, you are directed to:

and things are not the same (boo hoo).

So my questions are:

does anyone out there know where I could find my old site?
the CF developers' gallery within the new link?
or alternatively a good ColdFusion code site where I could find code that I could manipulate?

Thanks in advance for any help at all.

It looks like the link you gave is, indeed, the Developer Exchange gallery... and every custom tag that I could remember was in the old gallery is in the new gallery. So I'm not entirely sure what else you could be looking for.

The new interface (page) takes a little getting used to... but the "Search Enchanges >" link in the top right should help you out a great deal if you're looking for something specific.

This has always been the defacto library for me... almost everything I've found elsewhere has been here, and it's always had the most tags and snippets... but there are certainly others; , , , .

Usually it's much more efficient to do a web search for a particular custom tag you need, or given task you want to perform, than it is to simply visit a gallery and "browse".

I did a google search on "ColdFusion" and found a number of sites.

Thanks very much for the good help received here!
(FYI --- I was looking for already-built programs like shopping carts and the like and not neccesarily just tags.)

For pre-built apps, just go to that same page:
and choose "Applications" from the Categories dropdown list near the top of the page.

Or click on the "Search Exchanges ->" link on the righthand side of the page, select "ColdFusion Exchange" from the top dropdown, and enter some keywords (ie - "shopping cart") in the search field. Searching for "shopping cart" retrieved about 30 hits. Doesn't look like any of the old ones are missing.
