TFTP to 4621

Hi

having a problem in getting 4621 to upgrade across a256k link on a MPLS network

I have tftp server in UK and the phones in Luxenburg

The phones attempt and then reboot back to the original firmware.

I have set up a TFTP locally and all works ok. I have phones on other sites with larger band widths and they are ok.

I am guessing it is the bandwidth, does anyone have any timers of how long the phone waits for the file to be sent etc?

it is not recommended to use remote tftp servers over wan links. use local ones instead.

Hi,
It is recommended to use TFTP locally but it should still work over the WAN. Can you ping the TFTP server from your site. Could you image trying to upgrade 250 IP phones over the WAN link.
I would check your routing and firewall settings.
