Textbox Entry Not Displayed Until Exit

All of a sudden, for some unknown reason, when I key into any textbox that I have linked to a data field, the characters that I have keyed in do not display until I exit the field. What could be causing this? Using VFP 6.0 on an XP Pro machine.

Well, a bit more information would be useful before speculating.
Are you using VFP 6.0 Service Pack 5?
Are you using XP SP2?
Are you using the VFP baseclass for the textbox, or have you or your framework subclassed it? How?
Have you tried exiting the application?
Have you tried rebooting your machine?
Have you done a Virus scan recently?
Have you done an Adware scan recently?

Yes, I've tried exiting the application
Yes, I've tried rebooting the machine
Yes, I've dove a Virus scan and run AdAware and SpyBot
Also, I am connected remotely (XP to XP) to my customer's machine. And we have recently upgraded from Novel to 2003 Server.
Note: No one else using the same applications is having the same problem.
