TextArea Not picking Value Attribute !!! Help...

Hi !!
My form is having
1>Textbox
IT takes the value attributes and writes on the box.

2>TextArea
It do not take the value attribute at all !!!
any solution
Pls help

? i think you should reformulate your question or add some precisions ! and if it is about "how to retrieve/set the value of a textarea" then you'd better post it in the javascript forum coz it's a jscript problem

Textareas are coded differently than textboxes. To include a value in a textarea you need to do this:

<textarea name=&quot;xxx&quot;>this will be the value of the textarea</textarea>

Any line breaks in the text between the tags will also be in the textarea.
