Ever since I started using DW I have had problems with text in layers and in tables, I have visited the forum many times and people say tables is the answer.
But I still have problems with text shrinking in layers or tables the layer and table remain the same size but the text inside shrinks.
Can anyone help

Many thanks

What action have you performed immediately before the text shrinks? If it appears the right size when you type it then there must be something you are changing to cause it to shrink. This is what you need to establish before you can find out how to prevent it.

You might look at the fonts you are using. I usually have to stick with generic fonts, like MS Sans Serif, MS Serif, Arial, Times New Roman...I keep reading that the fonts are the problem. My tables expand and my text shrinks...oh my.

I am having the same problem I put some text in a table the table is centered in the middle of the page and the text is centered within the table it looks good in dreamweaver and in netscape but the text gets pushed to the left when I preview it in IE. I am using the font copperplate gothic bold and I have used the font before and dont rememer any problems so if you figure anything out please let me know.

Got it it's css and make text a px why did no one tell me?
