Probably a daft question but i recently used Dreamweaver to design a basic site containing images and text. The pages looked great on my machine but on others the text has changed size and pushed the images into different locations.
Is this a problem with the way i have formatted the text ?

Ahhh ballyhoo!

One of the problems of a web designer!
DW is great, I know...but when you're dealing with x number of different browsers, screen sizes, screen resolutions, etc, your formatting is gonna look different on other machines! IE can even alter size again in the View menu!
The best that you can do is try and find an middle ground
and design your site to that. 800x600 screen size used to be the base... but 1024x768 is catching up rapidly!

It's a pain, I know.. but that's just the way it is!

Just find a size that keeps the formatting about the same when swapping between those 2 resolutions (avoiding horizontal scrolling if you can too!).
Keep changing your screen resolutions to test

Hope that helps!
