1a22ip,

We use Redsky E-911 Manager on site notification feature which sends email alerts to a defined group of internal responders.

Change the pager number to a cell phone, it will send a text message using the Main Number field.

I had to mess around with the main number and had to append 12345 to the beginning of the main number I wanted to send, no dashes in the number.

The text shows up as a text from the main number with the main number as the call back number.

Stinney: Sorry if I am being Thick. The # signs equal what and the x's = what. Because my cell phone rinks and not text.

Thanks again

I'm not sure why. I didn't do anything more than change this parameter.

What if you change the Main Number so that it's something other than your outbound number so you know it's a 911 crisis alert and not just a call from the office? Something like all 9s. It's not a page, but you're getting notified.
