Text box size maximum

Is there a way to set the text box size to over 255 characters?

You have to use a memo field in the underlying table instead of a straight text box. This allows the same type of data, but expands the number of characters allowed to 64,000. Your box for data entry does not have to be huge, as you can use the "zoom box" effect. After selecting the box, simply press Shift + F2, and the box will expand for ease of reading/entering data.
