I am having a problem when creating a text box in a form. In the properties window for the text box on the "Format" folder there is a "Format" prompt in the upper left corner. When in this prompt there is an arrow on the right side which displays the types of formatting available for the text box, such as: "Currency", "Euro", "Fixed", "Standard", "Percent", and so on. When I try to display this listbox of options, it is empty for some text boxes and not for others? What's going on?

Sincerely,

Steve

I believe this has to do with what data type the bound field is defined as in the table. In other words, if you have a text box that uses the field 'name' as its source, and in your table 'name' is defined as text, then there will be no options because text is text, however, a number can be fixed, currency, etc., a date/time can be short date, long date, time, etc.
