Can someone clarify why I might be having the following issue?

I have a Windows 2000 Server SP4 running Citrix MetaFrame XP Ver1.0 (Build 1045). It is a member server running in a NT 4.0 Domain. It host one application and it is going away in a few months.

Recently I started having client license issues. I get the following errors in my event log when non-admin users logon to the server thru the Citrix Client and the users are denied access to the server.

Event Source: TermServLicensing
Event ID: 22
The Terminal Services Licensing server "NAME" has no license pack registered for product "Windows 2000 Terminal Services Cleint Access License". Use Terminal Services Licensing administrative tool to register the license pack.

When I go into the Admin Tool is shows that I have
Type = Built-in Unlimited Total and Unlimited Available "Existing Windows 2000 License" in the Terminal Services Licensing. The server has been in operation over a year and just now I started getting these errors. I end up having to remove the HKLM/Software/Microsoft/MSLicensing/Store/License# keys and the computer/user can log back onto the server.

All computers are Windows 2000 SP4.

Any ideas?

Is it registered ?

I am not sure how to tell if it is registered? It states it is ACTIVATED in the status field.

I ran the license wizard when I brought the server online and everything ran without error. Its just recently that I have started having this problem.

I licensed the server under our MS Select Agreement.

Hah, activated was the word I meant.

It might be worth doing it again, although I thought SP4 was supposed to fix that problem.

As a matter of fact, if you connect via RDP(to as desktop) do you get the same issue ?

It looks like it is not handling client requests and checking properly. i.e client tries to log in and TS lic looks for license, and its failing here. Your deleteing the TS store on the client is requesting and getting a new one. WHich is OK but a PITA.
