Hi!

To log all logons and logoff on the server, turn on Auditing on the server.
start-run->gpedit.msc (group policy editor)
Then go through Local Computer Configuration -> Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Secirity Settings->Local Policies->Audit Policy.
Enable the auditing for logons and they will be logged in the local event viewer under security.

About restricting ip-ranges I think you have to have to turn to Citrix MetaFrame XPa or XPe and use the load balancing rules.

Otherwise it might be a solution to set certain user permissions to the RDP protocol on the server.

Good Luck!
