Terminal Services on the blink

After applying Microsoft's latest patch, I can't get into the terminal services client. I am wondering if a port has been blocked and if so how can I unblock it? I can't uninstall the update and there is no system restore on the PC.

Which patch was it? Was it SP4 or just one of the smaller updates?

It was one of the smaller ones.

Do you know exactly which patch it was?? I have rolled back patches before to get things working properly again, but it's not something I like to do.

I think it is the MS-0386 hotfix. It was one that was sent yesterday.

I think the patch you are refering to from yesterday is KB824146 (or MS03-039: A Buffer Overrun in RPCSS May Allow Code Execution). I checked around and I can't seem to find any writeups about problems with the patch (but that doesn't mean there aren't any). You could always try to roll the patch back and see if that fixes your problem.
