Terminal Services Keyboard input slow

On some of our remote users that use the Terminal Services Client the keyboard input is slow.

They can type more than 5 letters before it displays on their terminal session window.

Is this a speed issue with their ISP?

What are you trying to run? We have had similar problems with a DOS application.

Try using something called TAME. It changes the MVDMS to run more efficiently.

Basically I have terminal services setup to run 1 specific application, Internet Explorer version 6.0.

What is TAME?

TAME is small download exe.

It does maqic memory management and some keyboard timing issues are corrected.


Citrix recommends it on their site. To get better performance out Citrix, it also works with TS.

Have you always had this problem? Does it do it on your LAN?

We just installed 2 new windows 2000 servers and are using Terminal Services on one of them.

We just got the remote users running terminal services last week.

I will try that TAME to see if that solves the problem.
