I seem to have a problem on my TS License server. I have 5 TS CALs installed, and on 3 of them, the expiration dates all occur in the past (within the past 2 months). I was under the impression that when a TS CAL token expired, the license was returned to the available pool if that client did not reconnect - and subsequently renew it. However, this is not happening, and I have clients that need them.

I haven't seen that one before, but have run into trouble with TS Licensing before and I can tell you that you can contact Microsoft and tell them that the computers that hold those licenses were replaced and that you need replacement Licenses. They will issue them to you over the phone for free.

We ran into this when people that used their home machine were then given company laptops and we could not revoke the licenses taken by the home machines. Later had the same problem when someone quit the company.

The reasons you outlined are the exact reasons I have problems with the TS Licensing scheme. I should have the right to revoke a license on my server if that client no longer needs it - I shouldn't have to call Microsoft Clearinghouse each time I need to do this. Well I'll give it a shot - that should work.
