Terminal Services Behavior

I am connected to a machine and attemping to perform the following:

- Copy a shortcut from the start menu to my desktop
- Start a ZetaFax client
- Open up textpad

I am getting errors like:

"C:\ is not accessible. Access is Denied"
"Cannot create file C:\Wendel\Local Setting\Temp\9\ZetaFax\ZetaFax.log"
"Error accessung 'C\Program Files\TextPad 4\Samples\anischar.tcl' No error occurred.."

Now I assume this issue has to do with permissions regarding TS users. I've been looking at the settings in the terminal services configuration mmc but I don't want to start making changes that may affect other users.

Can you all give me some guidance on this one?

appears to have been a permissions issue...

Someone removed read permissions from the root for "everyone".
