Ok here is the question, how do i get terminal services to use the authentication credentials that each user has already provided, i dont want to make these people login like 6 times so any logon i can cut down on, is good for business :)

Any one been able to do this?

Thanks
Anthony

Are the clients internal or external? are you using a vpn for external connections?

From the client connection manager you can go to the connection properties and general tab. Fill in the appropriate information under the "Log on automatically with this information".

That should cut down on one logon.

i thought about that, all of the clients in question will be connecting internaly, from their desktop. Here is the only problem, the users are required to change their password on a regular basis, which of course this will not change with it :(

its a real PITA, you would think microsoft would have some system integration

How many items are you logging into anyhow?

Quite a few, there is Goldmine (which i personaly am trying to get rid of in favor of something that integrates with exchange)

our 2 seperate accounting systems
our order processing system
god i cant even think of everything :(

The biggest thing is that somethings change with their windows password and some dont :( i wish i could just consolidate everything to authenticate back to their windows password
