Ok we have a working domain ex(BBB) which consists of PDC NT 4.0 small business, BDC NT 4.0, Windows 2000 member server which is our current terminal server for our thin clients.
I removed the BDC from the domain A and put it on a seperate LAN. I brought the bdc up and promoted it to a PDC. I then configured the new terminal server and was then able to join it to the (BBB)domain so that I can begin configuring the profiles for each user that will be logging on.
When I finish configuring the profiles I had planned to bring down the original Terminal server and bring up the new one.
I also wanted to know how I could specify that all new terminal service user profiles be created and stored on the T drive rather then c:\documents and settings
The easiest way that I can think of is having the server in the domain, but each person log on "locally", in which you can direct the user accounts to a location that you set up in the users account (the profile tab). This will also help in being able to have the local user policies apply letting you tailor the TS users ability to your liking, vice relying on the domain settings.
