Has anyone using Terminal Services ever run into this:

Occasionally when a user logs into Terminal Services their printer is not created. There is an error in the Event Logs that says the "printer could not be restored." I have tried different drivers and still the same thing happens. Sometimes they show up and sometime they don't. I've been administrating 2 other Terminal Servers and have never seen this, nor can I find anything on any web sites.

If you have any info I would appreciate it or if you need more info from me just ask.

As Always, Thanks,
Shayne

If not yet done - Install the same drivers for the problem printer(s) on the subject server.

Stop and start the print spooler service and have the users log on again.

Printing in terminal services is a pain.

Email me if you are still having problems. I have gone through this on about 5 networks.

I have 2 remote location and about to install TS at these locations. Would like to know if I have to install the local printer driver on to the server at the home office?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks
