I have a Windows 2003 Standard machine cureently serving ACT!. I want to take this machine and make it a Terminal Server. It is running 2.8 Xeon with 2GB of RAM. It will be used to serve up ACT! currently, more applications later.

Can this server be the licensing server as well as the terminal server? It is part of a domain, and not the PDC, not a DC at all actually.

Are these specs ok for 15 people running ACT!? Anything I should be aware of?

The specs are fine. MS says in best practice that your licensing server should be a seperate machine from your terminal servers.

Also, be sure to install the Act program in Application mode. I forgot what the command line switch to use, but via the GUI be sure to use Add Remove programs, simply don't pop the cd in and let it run.

Ok good deal. And it can be the license server as well as the terminal server correct?

depends, Like I stated MS best practice is to have them on seperate physical computers, but for a small environment it should be fine.

If you are restricted on hardware then I would assume that your in a small environment so you should be fine, but I would have them on two seperate computers.

Company size is < 50, those accessing the Terminal Server will be < 20. This is considered small I would think.

The CLI version is
change user /install
then install your apps, and run
change user /execute
