Terminal Server Printing

I have a Terminal Server Farm ruuning Windows 2000 Server Domain Controllers on the same Domain (X).When I try to add a printer which is attached to a machine running Windows 2000 Proffesional or XP from a different domain (y)by specifying the IP address and the machine name to a local port i am geeting any error message which says The trust relationship between the TRUSTING DOMAIN AND TRUSTED DOMAIN HAS FAILED.PLEASE ASSIST

verify the trust between the 2 domains using netdom utility, for syntax, refer the help of the utilizty
