Hi everybody,

i just wanted to ask if anyone knows a Terminal-Emulator for PalmOS that i could use for dialing into a Definity?

Also i would like to know which one you people use under Linux?

Greetings...

ResetSystem4,

I am not sure about the PalmOS, but you should be able to find a VT220 emulation under either Palm or Linux. I use minicom with VT100 emulation in a pinch on Linux, and if the only PC I can get to has Hyperterminal. VT100 emulation is the most popular emulation in the world, and nearly every terminal emulator will support it.

Under minicom, the page up and page down keys will work without a problem, but you have to send the escape sequences for Cancel, Help and Execute.

Cancel - <Esc>[~3
Execute - <Esc>[29~
Help - <Esc>[28~
Next - <Esc>[6~
Previous - <Esc>[5~

You can find all of the escape sequences in your Maintenance Volume 1 manual. Look under DEC VT220 Terminal. They are all spelled out.
