We will be hosting a separate company in our data center, including phones. To separate the two of us properly, I need tenant partitioning turned on. Out business partner said the feature is free, but they need to bill four hours to check for any feature related conflicts.

What are the possible conflicts outside of MOH?

Thanks,

Jim

i know you cant have Change COR by user enabled, there could be some more...but it also takes time to make the change, download the new file and then upload it to the server and or many servers which can hours in itself.

MOH shouldn't be a problem as of CM4. You can assign the music source by TN...

Finally had tenant partitioning turned on. Today our receptionist reported that when using position-busy, the phone with the attendant queue calls but is not being alerted. In fact, calls still continue to ring to the attendant.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jim

I haven't changed any TN assignment, the attendant, stations, VDNs, trunks, etc are all in the default TN #1.

I did find out position busy doesn't work when tenant partitioning is turned on, hence why it broke.

I am now looking at attendant vectoring, using aueue to hunt group since my backup 'attendant' uses a 6416 set. Will this work? Do I need another console?

All input is appreciated. The receptionist is chained to the console until I find a solution. I'm also chained to my desk until this is fixed.

Thanks,

Jim
