Hello all.

In Word you can amend the normal.dot template file to change default settings for fonts and so forth.

Is there a similar file for Publisher? I've been unable to find any way of changing the default font in Publisher, which is what I'd like to be able to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Russell.

To change the settings:
1. Click >Format >Styles and Formatting. The Styles and Formatting box should appear to the left of your Publisher screen. The Styles and Formatting box contains a list of all current styles available.

2. Click on the drop down menu for the "Normal" style. From the drop down menu click "Modify." You can then change the font size, type, line spacing, etc.

Thanks for your email techwrita.

Unfortunately when I click on >Format there is no >Styles option so I can't do what you suggest.

Also, does what you describe mean that the next time I open up Publisher that the font, for example, will be Verdana (if that's what I change it to doing what you suggest) and not Times Roman, which is the current default?

Thanks again.

Russell.
