As far as I can tell, no one is actually creating these queries... But they keep showing up. What I want to know is where they come from. Nothing appears to get affected when you delete them. But they keep showing up every few weeks...
They are the SQL statements behind your combo boxes and list boxes, as well as any reports that are not based on a query but use a SQL statement as their record source Tyrone Lumley

Is there any way to prevent them from persisting in the database? I would like to not have them around once a report or combo box that was using it is gone...
Hmmm. I don't know, to be honest. I stay away from any tables starting with Msys as a rule, and use instead the container!documents collection to browse DB objects... Tyrone Lumley

hmmm... Being as I did not develop the database, and only maintain it, that's going to be a lot of work... I think it would be easier to just keep deleting them until a SQL Server upgrade (possibly) next year.
