hey,
i honestly don't know much about the folders and file types under WINDOWS. i'm trying to clear up some disk space by deleting files and programs i don't need, but i have a question. i already deleted the stuff under TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES under the WINDOWS folder, but can i do the same with the TEMP folder under WINDOWS? what exactly is the TEMP folder anyway, and is it important?... thanks!

It is a storage place , somewhat like a closet, where windows or programs can store stuff it is temporarily using and may need again but might not.
Anything beginning with a tilde "~" can go. Most everything else can go also without problems. Probably would be best to clean it out on the next bootup. Ed Fair
