Temp Disabled on SMART-2/P Controller

I have the above message displayed in Compaq Insight Manager, and the only details I have found say "Cache operations are temporarily disabled. This condition should not exist when the system regains power."

Is is safe to restart the system or am I likely to end up with a dead array controller and no data?

OK, I found the solution and will post here in case anyone else stumbles upon the problem.

Load CPQONLIN

Select Array Configuration Utility

Select the controller

Cursor down until you highlight the logical drive - Array will *appear* enabled

Hit Enter

Hit Enter again to disable the accelerator

Hit Enter

Hit Enter again to enable the accelerator
Escape out of the utility
