Would anyone happen to know, how to (if possible at all), do a multi-party (I beleive the limit is SIX), conference call on an analog set. I have a Polycom analog conference phone in my conference room, but cannot figure out the method (I imagine it is a SPRE code), to add parties to a conference using this phone. In addition, if someone can tell me what particular Class of Service (CLS), is needed on an analog phone in order to accomplish this, I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

CLS would need to be AO6. Use the Flash Hook, very briefly press switchook down and release, You should hear stutter dialtone dial number then press Flash again to include original call. Do same for addition members. 6 party includes you..

Almost but not quite . . .

I attempted to add AO6 as a CLS, but realized after the fact that AO6 is actually a KEY value for a digital set (i.e. 2616, 2008, etc.).

So since I could not "add" AO6, I walked over to the conferencing phone, dialed one number (got the party), pressed "FLASH", but all that the FLASH key did was act as a "redial" of sorts (I pressed it and right away, without me dialing the other party, the phone dialed an extension within our facility, I was NOT given a second dial tone).

Any ideas . . . anyone?

Sorry about that it has been sometime since anyone has used it. Try C6A in CLS. Test it with a regular phone to see if it is the polycomm or switch.

Just a follow-up:

Thanks for the help. That just about did it, but when I had trouble adding the C6A as a CLS (I got a SCH2099 error), I researched it a bit further and found that I needed to have XFA as well. Once I added that, I then was able to C6A and found everything to work just as needed.

Thanks again.

John -

I am disappointed in you - you came late to the party with regard to my post. This is the type of thing you seem to jump on - getting slow in your old age? LOL

Sorry, I couldn't let that one go. [bigglasses]

Thanks for all the help.

yep, had a loop down with a bad fiber so i had 185 doctors that couldn't make golf arrangements, life goes on, had to move stations until i could get a new fiber about half a mile.. if the phones are broke, why not just go home, place is full of sick people...ha
