another question, is it normal that it took 2 hours to upgrade from 7.031 to 7.032 ?

The upgrade is about a minute, unless you edited down the filelist.txt then the file upload can take about 2 hrs

im on a live system,i go into file,advanced,upgrade...and it took 2 hours, is there a simple way to do it ?

It is the file upload that takes do much time.
The tech bulletin you need is the one for 7.0.31

Look in the Manager folder on the laptop/PC you use to upgrade with, then go in the "MemoryCards" folder then either the "IPOAlaw" or "IPOMUlaw" folder (whichever your region uses) and open the .txt file and if you can work it out (which is quite easy) then you can delete all the language file entries for the voicemail that aren't required, saves a whole lot of time

No, just the entries in the .txt file, then Manager will not upload them, don't touch anything else (perhaps you should take a copy of the original file for backup)

yes , when i open the ipulaw.txt i see a bunch of files

i delete all of them in that txt files ?

probably thinking to much..

They are advising you to edit the text file and delete the entries not need in the text file.


They are not advising you to delete files from anywhere for any reason.
