Practically, how do i setup dual NIC's to one server on dual switches?

What kind of ethernet adapter? If its an intel NIC you can set it up to be a fault tolerant adapter team.. Basically it broadcasts out and listens for each others broadcasts, if it doesn't hear them, the other NIC goes into active mode..

Im running Compaq NC3121. They do have Intel chips on it.

I did a team, but if i have both of them plugged in it seems that the server doesn't work. I can't reach it from the network.

What kind of team did you do?

Tried to load balance them.

Failover works fine, but i want to load balance them...

If their are Intel NIC going into a Cisco switch, make them a Fasth Etherchannel port group. Best team you can make.

But can i connect the network cards onto different switches? I want redundancy on switch level also.
