Hi all,

I'm investigating the usage of 802.1x with EAP-TLS to secure my wired network (not wireless) and per the various resources that I've looked at, it appears to be feasible.

However, in looking at my network adapter, I find that the "Authentication" tab is missing. My client is an XP (SP
1) Pro desktop (IBM ThinkCentre A50p) connected to a W2K domain. I have a standalone XP desktop that does have the tab, so I'm wondering if its something in Group Policy...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Disregard, I figured it out - you have to have the Wireless Configuration Service running, even if you are not using wireless.

Thanks anyway...
