Did you really uninstall the Task Scheduler ? - If you only removed a shortcut from Startup, use the Help-menu : Go to Starting programs at startup and follow the instructions there. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSTASK.EXE .
Run MSCONFIG if you wish to temporarily exclude a program from the startup process.
Ok so I didn't manage to uninstall it but just remove the registry keys.
The problem I am getting is the when you open task scheduler it seem to open as a web page .Is there a way to uninstall the scheduler and then reinstall .
