I have a mass number of tasks scheduled to run as a specific user in a specific domain. Everything was runing perfectly fine until our corporate IT dept changed the domain name the server sits in and blew away the old domain. Now eah task is looking for the old domain and username which no longer exists.

Question is, is there a way to automatically change the user credentials for X number of tasks, or do i get manically typing and do each one individually?

You could write a script to do this. I don't know if you have a script language preference, but it wouldn't hurt to post in the VBScript, Perl, or other language forum.

Thanks, i'll try that. Meantime, i'll continue to change things manually..
My fingers hurt already (

Have you looked at the schtasks command? I use it on XP & 2003, works great. I know it is not on 2000, but there is an article that says you can make it work. I never tried. If you can make it work, you can use as DOS .cmd file to create your schedule and set the user, domain, password, etc. for each task.
Good luck!
