I am finding the Task Schedulers on all three Win2K machines on my network (2 SP4, 1 SP3) are failing to work properly. In some cases it will not run a task at all and show no logged record of it having attempted to, in others it will try and fail to run the program saying the username or password was wrong - despite my having entered them in the task's properties tab and the operative windows account having administrator privileges - and in others, like the calc.exe test, the program will start but will run only in the background and I have to end the process in the task manager. Any idea/suggestions would be appreciated as I've exhausted my own.

Thanks a lot.

Hi lupini,

I believe there is some sort of freeware scheduler that is better than the task scheduler in Windows. If you search this site, you should find a thread or two about it.
