I'm trying to install the tapi drivers on a citrix server and single user isn't cutting it. Any insight on how to get 30+ users working on a citrix server with tapi or what this "third party" option is?

Single user TAPI is exactly that, a tapi driver on a pc controlling a single device.

Third party TAPI is a gaggle of tapi drivers on a server controlling multiple devices, for screen popping or dialler applications.

But look below, you are screwed.

TAPI support in a Terminal Services or Citrix environment.

Neither 1st nor 3rd Party IP Office TAPI is supported in a Terminal Services or Citrix environment. This is due to the fact that our TAPI offering was not designed to operate within the tight constraints of these environments.

whenever I did Tapi on citrix, not avaya, I installed a tapi driver on the main server, but allowed it control over every extension. When a user logs on, they select the extension they use and save the profile. I don't think avaya have a general controller allowing all extensions under 1 tapi name do they?

I could choose every extension availeble so i asume it is the same way

yeah, it should. I haven't got a site to test on but I guess it should work. I also found that other PBXs didn't say compatible with Citrix but did work.

For those that have gotten this to work, what did you do. I can only get it to work for 1 extension at a time.

Not supported does NOT mean it will not work, i have seen a lot of single server Terminal Server / Citrix environments were it works just fine. The only problem is if you have multiple servers then it definitely will not work.

If you are installing third party TAPI (on the server controlling all devices) then you need a licence to make it work and also you need to change your tapi driver to nthird party mode.
