HI,
I have a small home network.
XP SP2 on "server"
XP SP2 on client1.
WIN98 SE on client 2.
Server and client2 work fine on the network.
Any time client1 is disconnected from the network, such as tracking down an incredibly slow internet download problem today, it can't find the network again. So I can't tell if my maintenance worked or not. If I leave everything on over night, say 12 to 18 hours, the next morning it is usually back on the network!?!?!?
Shouldn't I be able to make a network connection, identify the network name and have it find it in a few seconds?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Jeff
