Hi All,

I'm compiling a very large document and have set up a TOC (thats the easy part!). However as the document is so large I'll need to print two volumes. In the first volume I need to put the full TOC. In this TOC I would like to specify which volume a particular heading appears in (either Vol I or II).

Also I would like to specify a volume when using a reference to a particular graphic/table in the text (i.e. like Table 5, Vol. I, page 335).

Can anyone help,

Thanks

Jon

Sorry. I guess I should add to that, huh?

If you're making ONE document, I can help you out. If you're making two--you're not using Word the way it's intended, and you'll have a heck of a time trying to get it to work. And I don't have the time to work all that out.
