I am having a problem with the tab order on Page 1 of a tab control. Even after expressly giving each control a specifc tab order - beginning at 0, after saving the form and re-opening, everything goes out of whack. in addition, every time you tab or move to another field the enter form seems to 'jump/blink'. this happens only on page 1. subsequent pages have embedded forms and every thing works ok.

thanks in advance for your help

This sounds familiar - I believe I came across this same issue. First, the best way to move between tabs automatically, if you're looking for that as well, is to send control to a field inside the tab. If it's within a subform, make sure you reference the subform in addition to the field name, or else it won't work.

As far as your first Tab position, is this an unlinked tab? Or is it referring to a table? Are you refreshing after you go from one field to another? There are a lot of questions here... :) But I am trying to assist...

Thanks for the assistance. I did last, what I should have done at first. I designed the form on paper first, then placed the controls on the form in the order that I wanted.
