Tab index in a form

I am having a strange problem, I can't get the tab index to save the index number I enter. When I enter the order number I want for my fields in this form it reverts back to the previous tab index value. I have never had trouble with this in the past. Help...

Have you tried just changing the tab order for the form?

Right-click on the Form in the upper left hand corner or in the detail section, and choose "tab order" from the pop-up menu.

Or are you talking about something totally different?

Maybe you are entering an already existing tab index.
