I have a tabbed form with forms of varying heights used as subforms on it. The individual forms each have a form header (the same height in each) and a detail section which may vary in height from form to form. Am using Access 2002 in office XP Pro.
When these forms are used as subforms on a form with a tabbed menu control, I get a weird result. When the tabbed menu is opened, the tabs seem to "disappear". I see the top logo in the form header section for each, but the tabs themselves are not visible. I have to fiddle with vertical scroll bar to bring them back into view. Clicking on each tab produces the same result and the form seems to "jump" just enough to hide the tabs at the top of the main form.
I can't expect my client to get excited about a tabbed form on which the tabs at top do not stay put, visible at all times.
I've tried all kinds of things, but cannot suppress this behavior. I imagine the subforms being of varying heights might be a factor. Any suggestions on how to fix this???
Thanks in advance for any tips --- Bob
