I am looking to merge our wireless link with our T1 to our 2600 router. the T1 is already established on the router. The wireless and the T1 our from diffrent ISP's. I have no idea what kind of equipment the ISP's have at there end. If I just give the other ethernet port in the router the ip address of the wireless connection. Shouldnt everything work right? The router should see that one port can access a network quicker then the other so it would use the quickest port right? Well if your useing the right routing protocol. Guess what I'm asking here is am I wrong to think this or does there have to be a certian IOS installed on the router to handle the load balance or am I missing something here completely? Please help. Any info would be helpful. Thanx!

Hi,

You seem to be talking about load balancing. CEF with OSPF can be done if the links are of equal cost, which is not in your case. You can use multilink ppp or ATM Inverse Multiplexing device to load balance traffic.

Otherwise you can also use linkproof of
