Hello and hope someone can point me in the right direction. Just need to know what is needed to start to test each channel of my T1 here. I'm running an option 11c with 25.4 release and i think I have a bad channel on the T1. I was a Nortel tech for 8 years and it sounds like a pretty easy thing to do but I haven't been doing telecom for the past 5 years and it seems that if you don't use it you loose it. I'm pretty sure that I have to make up a MTC set to access each channel individually but my brain just isn't picking up anything else right at the moment so if you could poing me in the right direction I would be greatful.
thanks

This is correct. But if this is a PRI, then the channel you 'select' may not be the channel you go out on! ;-)

That's an old bar trick, I have collected many bets on. If you are DTI, then what you select in the MTC set is what you get.

If you change your COT route to RRB temporarly you will roll through them, otherwise as you mentioned Maint set with LD 36 but I'm not sure if it allows you to dial...

You could also do some testing through LD 60 on a per channel basis.

thanks for the quick responses guys. I think I will try the load 36 because this place runs 24/7 and i don't want them to loose any calls and I can't really do any serious changes that could screw stuff up. Yes it is a PRI and I understand what you mean 911guru.

thanks again guys
