I seem to be locating everything but what I need to find out so please bear with me if this subject has been discussed to death but...

When I attempt to run the debugger I receive an error stating: "SP debugging may not work properly if you log on as a 'Local system account' while SQL Server is configured to run as a service".

I am running a single instance of SQL Server 2000 on my laptop (Windows XP Pro)

I am logged on using Windows login.

I understand that I need to login as a domain account but do not know how to accomplish this.

Or can I recconfigure SQL Server somehow? If so How?

Thanks

First, add the domain user to the database in enterprise manager and give them the appropriate permissions to database objects by right clicking the user, select properties, then permissions. Next, you'll have to change the server settings. right click the server, choose properties, then security and you will see how you can change the SQL authentication. Hope this helps.
