T.38 for Fax server

Does anyone know of a method to configure T.38 on a SIP trunk through CUCM 9.x without configuring a Dial Peer?

you need a gateway (see ISR router) for t38

Let me add that you can the sip trunk directly to cucm but still need a gateway to enable t38 fax relay.
