T-1 from definity to definity has no framing?

I am running a T-1 from one definity to another and using external CSU's between them. I need to have the CSU's as this alloows us to access them via the network, should the t-1's fail. (this is the best method for our users). Anyway, the CSU's indicate there is no framing present. Can anyone suggest why this might be?

Are these co-located? Did you flip the transmit and receive pairs?

Yes, The T-1s are pinned correctly, and locked up. I have an error from the CSU's saying there is no framing.

Have you programmed the DS1 cards in the PBX's? The framing will come from the DS1 cards. Make sure the PBX's match B8ZS/ESF ETC.
