System Tray Ini Entry

I deleted an Icon on the System Tray, but during start-up I keep getting the error INI file unable to locate Icon.

Are they a way to tidy up the System Tray items.

Here is a listing of several good freeware utilities to do the job of editing your autostart programs.

But I suspect the fault is in the Desktop.ini found in your \Desktop folder of your profile.

The new Tweak UI 2.10 for XP has the option to disable all icons in the notification area.

This is an alternate way to clean them all.

Many properties accessed by right-clicking the icon lead to an option to not place an icon on the Notification Area.

See what is starting to give you your error message or replace the icon to end the message prompt.

Microsoft has released a new version of TweakUI for Windows XP and Server 2003. TweakUI, one of Microsoft's Windows XP Powertoys has been updated to build 2.10.0.0 (The previous version was 2.00.1.0).

It is the thought that counts, as they say, and if you have never downloaded it then I suppose it could loosely be described as "new"?
