System state backup failure - W3081

Hi,
We have a server Win 2003 root DC with Arcserve 11.1 fully patched. Server has a local SDLT. When we try to backup the full server and the System state we get the following error message:
W3081 01/08/2008 11:12:24 PM 1853 Unable to backup system state for remote machines. (MACHINE=)

We're not trying to backup the system state remotly but locally. Any idea what can cause this issue?

Is the server selected via Network?

No, it is locally selected.

The backup is a GFS rotation and I just performed a manual backup and I still got the same error message...

Problem is solved.
It turned out to be that the shares sysvol, netlogon were selected in the tree structure. When I removed these and only made backup of C,F and System state the error message was gone and the System state could be backed up...
