I want to upgrade our CM 6.3 servers to the most current service packs which because of their file size require a DVD to be loaded to the server.

What is the proper procedure to complete the upgrade without deleting CM, BSM and other application templates?

Assuming that you have the disk space, you can just scp the iso file to the device

Then patch the VSP as normal, it takes a while, but it comes up with all VMs complete etc
