Every time I go to open Access 2000 on a laptop installation I get the same message, Access can't find the DAtabase file. If I attempt to open and create a new database Access coms back with an error and tells me that the feature is no longer functioning properly, Do you want to repair it? I have tried this and the repair will run, however nothing is any different. If I say NO to the above message I then get a message that "system.mdw' could not be found. The file is present on the system. I have even replaced it from a working machine. Any help would be appreciated!

I would do a full install instead of a laptop install. I have see missing files with laptop installs..

Thanks for the reply. I did do a full install however the same problem occured. I uninstalled Access then deleted "Hatten.ttf, Msaccess.exe" I then reinstalled and now have full Access to the database features.
